Sorry about your commute. That's roughly like what mine was when I was working. Routinely it would take me 45 minutes to "drive" the ten miles from my work to my home.
I hear there are a lot of good audio books out there...
I like This American Life and Selected Shorts the best, so far. I get my non-musical audio fix and when I get home I don't even turn the TV on! It's fantastic. We don't have extended cable so there's nothing but crap on anyway. I'm getting used to it and have figured out the fastest route with synchronized traffic lights that has started saving me a little gas.
I concur: so much crap TV out there. We have cable only because Michael wants it. I rarely watch cable, but Netflix is another story. I can't even tell you how much time I've spent watching "Damages" in the last two days. :(
