Incentives

Can you read it?  It says Good Mornting!!  But it also says "it's really muggy out there."

We had a pretty good rain yesterday evening, after Jody had watered everything of course.  We may have had rain though the night, I have no idea as I was in comatose state, I'm a VERY sound sleeper when I want to be.

Any way.... it was too wet to go out on the deck when I got up at (wait for it....) 4:30!!!  and you wondered why I go into a coma.

The do-hickey on the kitchen wall said it was only 77 out there.  If it's getting down into the 70's at night then why aren't my tomatoes making?

That's not the reason for this post.  This post is for the purpose of winning a drawing.  Maybe I'll win some seeds to plant next year.  I'll keep some of the seeds I can plant in my flowerbeds and herb pots and share the rest with Nita and Di.

I'm supposed to post pictures of my 'garden' and a link to Jayne's post where she is having the give-away.  If you don't want to wait on the link, it's over there in The Barefoot Kitchen Witch - In the Garden.

LOL my neighbor must be trying to sleep late, she just threw something against her window and screamed "shut-up" at her barking dog who has been barking at me since I came out.

This is how I grow my herbs for cooking.  Did you get that clarification?  It takes up less space and it doesn't rot out the decking.  And you can stand in one spot on the deck and never have to move or get your feet wet.  Ingenious!  Jolea and I thought it up a few years ago.  What color do you think I should paint the deck, this should be incentive to wash it first.

I have basil and fennel only because some dolt at the store didn't know fennel from dill and put a dill marker in the pot of fennel.  It didn't help that I had a VERY stuffy nose and couldn't smell to see that it wasn't dill.  I like to put a few ornamental plants in there too.  And I've recently planted dill seeds.

I have some Italian parsley and more ieiryihexpletive fennel I don't even know how to use fennel and mint, two kinds, for Mojitos.

So that's my incentive to win some seeds, now you have a chance to win seeds if you are into gardening.  Just go to this site and click on today's post.  Hurry it's only good though this weekend.

Now I have to take care of the incentive to wash the patio doors.  Looks like rain, maybe I'll wait.
