Neither is this carrot.
Now he's just showing off.
Here's something worth keeping. He got a laser engraver and now he's engraving EVERYTHING!
He did this bottle for my red wine vinegar.
Plant markers! Let me know if you want any of these, I'm trying my hardest to keep wine bottle corks in abundance for him to engrave.
I just kept coming back to the bottles, there were just so many cool things he could do with bottles. So I went to our local Oil and Vinegar store. I had a Groupon for some oil and vinegar and in the mean time I showed the store owner the picture of my red wine vinegar bottle that Jody had engraved for me. The store owner went nuts, she scooped up three different styles of bottles for Jody to try her logo on.
This one is my favorite. When I need to buy more bottles for oil and vinegar I'm going with these little jewels. They stack! You can't see it very well but there is space in the bottom of the bottle for the neck of another bottle!
I'm thinking engraved oil and vinegar bottles would make an awesome gift for someone who liked to cook or just eat. Check out their website. If you happen to have a Oil and Vinegar Store near you, and you've never been in, just go! But go on an empty stomach, you can sample all the oils and vinegars you want, one tee-tiny bread cube at a time.
Jody's cool engraver can also cut straight through stuff, like balsa wood or plexi-glass.
He made this awesome set of sock blockers! Yeah, I'll be taking these around to the local yarn stores. He can engrave their logos on them!!!!
Hey if you guys have any gifts that need to be engraved, let us know. Jody can do any font that's common to a PC. Just click on the pictures to see some of the fonts he's used. If you need a set of wine glasses for a wedding gift this season, just let me know and I'll bop over to Foley's and pick-up a set to engrave for you. I'll let you know how much they were (or you can tell me which set to get), then he'll engrave them with what ever you want, then we can ship them for you. He can even do pictures! Yes! Actual photos!
Maybe this will work out and I can quit my day job.

That's awesome!
That looks brilliant! So much fun - so many things .....
Trudi, you need any sock blockers? How about your mom Sigga?
Like a labelmaker but so, so SO MUCH BETTER! How many things would I engrave on the boat? MANY, I'll tell you that much. The produce engraving is killing me.
I know Behan, I can think of SO many things. You could put your logo and boat name on Mexican blown glass wine glasses. He can even 'engrave' fabric, although it's more like melting and the fabric has to be a lot of synthetic fabric like nylon... duffel bags!
I think my next post will be all about what we did with the engraved produce.
Wow that is so cool!
Very cool! I need to post some pictures of things he's done since this post.
