Key West Day 1 & 2

WOW, we've been busy....
I got here around 1:30 Monday.  Jolea and Lilly picked me up at the airport and drove me over to the house.

Jolea's front porch it would be a great knitting spot if it weren't for some stinky shoes under that chair.
Come on in...

the living room/kitchen,
ahhh, the back yard!
You know how a feel about a back yard....
.... where's my knitting.

Later that night, Martini Madness!

Jolea took me by 801 to show me what she did with her prom dress.  Elle (on the right) puts it to good use.
Day 2 we went to the beach and Fort Zachary Taylor.  No I'm not expecting, well I guess I was expecting my dress to blow over the wall, it was really windy up there.

We decided sitting poolside at Dante's was a little more relaxing.
Besides, we'd be needing lunch soon.

Didn't hang out too long after lunch, the movie started at 1:45.

Later we went on the Fury sunset sail "Commotion on the Ocean."

Oh look!  It's Ricky Hendrix's private yacht!

This was awesome... a band on a boat!  Cory Heydon and his band to be exact.
They sang a song about Jolea and then they had her come join the band.
In the mean time...

... no one was watching so I took over driving the boat!  Yeah, I'm helpful like that.

Snap! I got caught!  This is Capt. Chuck Buck.

What a way to end a day!

Oh but we were not close to being finished.

Back to 801 to see the whole show.  Look Elle could pass for my daughter!

This morning... coffee on the deck and a little knitting.

Then we biked down and tried to get on a parasail boat with one of Jolea's friends, but they were fully booked with the the cruise ships in town.  Jolea has to work this afternoon.  I'll hang out here at the house, maybe knit a little then head down to Turtle Kraals where she'll be working.

I can't believe it's Wednesday already.

I think I'll take up yoga afterall.
You look fantastic, Judith, from the inside-out!

Great pics!
You guys have such fun wherever you go.
I'd be so proud to have Jolea as a daughter or you as a mother, if I was younger that is.

Keep on partying!
p.s What a beautiful house Jolea lives in.
I mean, really, really beautiful.
Love the porch.

Thanks ladies, we are staying pretty busy. I thought she was going to wear me out the first two days. She's off today and tomorrow so who knows what we'll do.
