Ahhh, Spring Break.... I'm freezing my butt off.

So we're halfway though Spring Break.  No, I'm not traveling this year, I've got things to do here at home.

Jeff got home yesterday and came by last night to pick up his truck.  He was bearing gifts from far away lands.  I got some sweet Havaianas.  Soooo soft and cushy. They have a little Brazilian flag on them.  I love the color.  I had just heard on TV yesterday that coral is the IN color for this summer.
Jeff brought Jody a Cuica.  It's all about the music.  Although I don't know if Jody will be able to work this in to a Bluegrass jam.

Jeff said they heard this sound all over the place down there and couldn't figure out what was making it, they just saw the regular instruments on stage like guitars, horns, drums what they thought were drums, people who liked to dance on stage holding a drum and never played it. They just thought they weren't playing it.
Gracie seemed to like it when it wasn't making that deafening noise.  Perhaps it was just because I was standing by the back door taking pictures where the light was good.

She's loving the Great Outdoors!  We just leave the backdoor open a bit helps in freezing my butt off and she comes and goes as she likes.

One of these day's she's going to drag in a Bluejay, I just know it.

I should have been on a juice fast this week.  Oh well.... I have been doing a shot of wheat grass every morning.

Then I chase it with a rainbow.  Isn't it pretty?  It's blueberry, strawberry, orange and apple with the remnants of the wheatgrass.  You wouldn't believe how yummy this is.  Just add ice and rum and it would be a wonderful cocktail.

And I played with Kool-Aid.  No it's not spaghetti, it's yarn!

See!  It was a blah beige, and for Baby Alpaca yarn it needed a punch.  It's soooo soft.
I was scared when I rinsed it out.  I was hoping the new, new color for spring would be Shop Rag Red have you ever noticed those rags at the auto repair shop? because this is the color I obtained by using 4 packages of tropical punch and then adding 2 packages of grape at the last minute.

It's a little less raggy red after a dip in some Oxyclean and drying.

Well... it matches the flip-flops.

I'm either off to work in the flowbeds or taking a trip to World Market.  I love that place, I can browse in there for hours.

That looks like a candy wrapper thing behind the wheat grass - a red one instead of the brown See's Candy comes in... candy & juice fast? I could do that. Wine is grape juice right?
I LOVE the color of the yard - I think it came out beautiful! And if you need some more juice, you can chew on the yarn...?

Hope the weather starts to warm up for you!

Lol, that's a silicone cupcake liner. I use those in my bento. But that's not to say I would have a handful of chocolate chips or a piece of See's Candy just to get the pasture taste out of my mouth. And yes wine is grape juice... I have that at night. I'm in the business of staying healthy ALL day, tee hee.

The yarn color is growing on me.
