I'm down to doing only 2 posts per month? Well like I learned when I became one of this clan, NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS.
We've been working long days, or at least Jeff and I have. Jeff has been working in Corpus Christie and we haven't seen him in over 2 weeks. Jody may have, I was asleep when he came in last Thursday night late. He had business to take care of Friday morning and then drove back. Hopefully he'll get to come home this weekend.
I've worked pretty late almost every night this week. This is my busiest time of the year, with all the orders for supplies and booking Field Trips and buses. Then there's booking staff members to go to conferences out of town. I think I could get a job with a travel agency if this doesn't work out.
Jody's just not really happy that he's having to work 5 days straight. He was so enjoying being a Dead Beat Husband. He says he's trying to find someone to call and complain about this Monday through Friday work week he's on, but no one will take him seriously about it.
This week will be different. Brace yourself.... I'm taking Friday off!!! I know, the Earth will probably tip on it's axis. I have comp-time and we are supposed to get it used by the end of October. Problem is I probably have 24 or more hours of comp time on last months time sheet, and now I've stayed late yesterday (till 5:30) and today (till 4:45.)
I'm taking off because my sister Nita is coming to town. We are going to sit out on the deck drinking coffee in the mornings and then we'll go shopping. We'll eat lunch out on some patio somewhere and then shop some more. We'll go to Garland a couple of nights to hear the music and maybe we'll take her to the Beef House!!! Everyone has to experience the Beef House at least once.
Yes it's going to be a weekend to post about.

Thanks, we will, we always do. We'll have people staring at us when we start speaking that sister-lingo in public. Just hope the weather doesn't get too bad tonight. Supposed to have Severe Thunderstorms.

I look forward to your blogging about it — am I a bad Texan if I don't know what The Beef House is? Not a place like where Bobby Hill went and ate that steak in front of his vegetarian ex-girlfriend, is it? Or is it?! That would be awesome to see. (I'm definitely carnivorous.)
The economy can't be that bad still if the Beef House is still in business.
