I'll post pictures of last weekend as soon as Nita sends them to me. I wasn't a good blogger and only took a few pictures. I'm just not a photographer so I never think about it.
We hung out in town last night, but we didn't stay home. We went over to Mike and Dawn's (from work) house and hung out. The weather has turned cold and it's been raining a lot this week. We'll be hanging out a home a lot more with fewer people going to Garland now that winter is coming on.
We had fun at M & D's, playing dominoes and pool. I tried to teach them how to play what we called Mexican Train dominoes. The way Nita and I used to play it. Evidently it's not the the way they knew how to play.... they even had an official Mex Train set of dominoes that came with a train, they never really said if they had little Mexicans too, but that was one impressive set of dominoes. Jody decided the way Nita and I play MT was developed for drunk Mexican and not the official rules. It was fun none the less.
Then we had a pool tournament. Guys vs. Chics. Dawn is good! Mike is good. Jody, as in any sport excels (I have NEVER seen him attempt a sport that he isn't good in... NEVER!) I.... suck, I just need my Nita when I play pool. It's hard to explain, but we used to pull it off back in the day. Nita just understands it and can explain it to me without words and I can at least look like I know what I'm doing.
It was close in the end, but Dawn and I let them win. We just didn't want to go through the weekend with a couple of pouters.
My brother Mike and his fiance, Di may come in tonight to go to Garland with us. I'll try to take pictures and post those. In the meantime, I'm going shopping. I hate shopping. I wish Jolea was here. It's so much more fun to shop with a partner. Nita and I did that last weekend, but she shopped much harder than I did, so she was the winner. It's so much fun to spend her money on home decor.
This weekend I'm shopping for clothes. But if I run across something snazzy and the price is right, Elmo could have new shoes too.
Stay tuned.

Hope you find something snazzy in your shopping! Have fun!
SURE! Come on over.... Many years ago Nita and I would play MT all day every Sunday with a couple of guys in the neighborhood. Only when the weather was yucky... it's a good way to pass a cold and drippy day.
i am getting bored. i need a vacation from my vacation. maybe i will come home for a few days or something!
So.... what did you buy????
Oh Jolea you just want to go shopping...
Sigga, I got a dress, a black skirt, three tops and a pair of jeans. Nothing for Elmo. It was a pretty good trip.
Stay tuned? I am so tuned.
I know Brian, I've got writer's block and I don't know enough about demons to write about them like you do.
Mmmmm... Mexican Train! There are so many variations of the game - I always ask the people I am playing with how they play and just go along. And that works, because I play it so infrequently that I can never remember how to play anyway!
