Jody is back and the cancer is GONE!!!! Outa here!!!! No more chemo!!!! He will go to the Radiologist on Monday to set up his schedule for 15 days of radiation. He'll be pushing for that to go non-stop now. One medical office down and one to go... he's on a mission to spread his joyful attitude. Ha! The oncologist office staff will be sleeping much better knowing they no longer have to deal with "that really cranky guy." Let's just hope the Radiologist's office doesn't get tipped off.
Now to wake Jolea and make a day of it. A day off in the middle of the week may not be so bad after all.
I feel like singing.... Zip-a-dee do da, zip-a-dee yea! My oh my it's a wonderful day!

The radiation is no where near as bad as the chemo, but my sister was pretty sick by then, so she still hated it. Said it was cold in the room, table was cold, radiation felt cold. Plus they tattoo'd little marks on her so they would know where to line the machine up each time.
Give the really cranky guy a big hug and his favorite dinner :)
Oh yeah, and some ice cream.

Jolea and I celebrated, Jody had lunch and a nap and the house to himself to plink on his mandolin or call his buds. We went to Uncle Julio's for lunch and shopping... Jody's birthday is next week, and I got a new bra!

Mom wants to go on a "trip" to Longview TX. It's a 2 hour drive from here... to the middle of nowhere... east-bygod-texas.
I love to go ANYWHERE though so she knows i'm game.
Dad doesn't like to leave the county...

No, his gift is not a bra, he's more of a leg guy.... I only buy a new bra when a wire pokes out and I could end up with a severed boob... gotta protect what little I have. And Victoria's Secret was having a sale and I had a coupon.
