I guess from now on I'll do medical up dates on Saturday. Hubby said the heart exam isn't until next week. And the Oncologist wants that done for his (the doctor's) sake, Hubby asked him "for liability reasons?" This doctor is serious about what he does, and should be, who wants a doctor that's not? (Think Groucho Marx...) But Hubby likes to lighten the mood with a bit of humor. Our whole family is like that, it's our mission to make people laugh. He also mentioned his white count was low... and hubby finally brought up the subject of going on extended medical leave.
We had already covered the medical leave hadn't we... yes we had. Had he talked to me about it? No he hadn't. How did I know about it? Overhearing him on the phone with every Tom, Dick and Harry who owns a guitar or mandolin!!!! And he wonders why I want to go to the doctor with him... I'm the last to know if I don't eavesdrop on him. I think I'm going to tell him that next week when he goes to the Cardiologist. I'm going to tell him I'll follow him around when he's on the phone, in the garage, outside... into the bathroom. He just doesn't want me to have to miss a bunch of work right now when it's a very hectic time of the year at school. Mostly he doesn't want me to worry. He's the worrier, not me. Everything happens for a reason and it will all work out.... that's my motto.
One last thing, for those of you living in my area... the termites are swarming. It was 72 when I came out this morning, thought I was going to have to get a binky and build a fire in the chimenea... just kidding. The termites were in clouds. Those little guys are sneaky... they start flying around just as the sun comes up and the bats go in. I guess I should be glad, I could just see myself heading into work on Monday with a big bruise on the side of my head where I was in a bat fiasco.... Lucy moment.
I can see to read my book with out a night light now. Get up early! You are missing the BEST time of the day!

Amazing how the spouse is always the last to know... I can relate. Am sending healthy thoughts your hubby's way.
Don't wear any wooden clothes with all those termites around...
thank you Heather, we'll take all we can get.
Hopefully the termites will have blown away in the morning.
was that a jab at me sleeping till noon? cuz i just posted that on my blog....
No, you don't sleep till noon, you are at the safari stop by 6:30... Granted most people I know don't get up at 4:30 like I do, but it's just the best time of the day...
