One teacher had a little dry erase board on her door, counting down the days. That number was just too big for me to deal with in the first few weeks after Spring Break. I'd try not to look at it when I walked down that hall for fear of screaming and running from the building.
I'm done now. I'm not going to lie, this year was different. This year wasn't fun like most of the years in the past. This year seemed to go on forever.
I'll be OK, I have a support group, right here at home. I'm going to take each day as slow as I can. I have a few plans for travel and visitors. But mostly I'm going to just go by the seat of my pants.
Hey, maybe I won't wear any pants!

Thanks, not sure what the future holds but I guess all I can do is sit here and wait it out.
Hey Stranger! I am alive and living in SC since the end of December. I'm also back to working in the school system so I feel your pain....or the lack thereof.
Sorry you had a tough year. Some just seem to be like that.
