THIS IS WHAT I DO. I KNIT, I COOK, I SEW, I MAKE THINGS, AND I TRAVEL, AS OFTEN AS I CAN.

I can't load any pictures right now because my settings are screwed up and I have no idea how to reset them, not that I have any cool pics to post.

Just wanted to let you know about some things that have been going on in the past few weeks:

(I can't even make bullet points!)

1. Jolea made it to Sedona and had a job in 48 hours of getting there. She did send some cool pics :( I can't show you. She's really liking it there, but it hasn't gotten cold yet. Not like here! We got down to 40 something last night and will only get to the mid 50's today.... These temps are normal for January or February for us, not October.

2. The cat continues to beat the crap out of any other cat or wild animal that has the nerve to stick it's head through the cat door. Problem is, she likes to do her crap beating at 3 in the morning.

3. The ants in the ant farm are still digging like crazy, about half of them have died. It's weird how they lug their dead around.

4. The first two fish are doing great, but we've lost one little hot pink fish (still hanging in there) and two bottom feeders (I guess it's too early for them.)

And finally but most important...

5. Jeff flies out to Panama tomorrow morning. He'll take the bus over to Costa Rica and then ride another bus into San Jose. There he'll pick up his motorcycle and begin his ride to somewhere in The Yucatan. He's got a friend there who's parents own a resort and he'll drop the bike off there until he can get back to it and finish the ride to Texas. He's only got 3 weeks this time so decided not to rush it and only go to The Yucatan.

Y'all keep safe thoughts for him, and the neighborhood cat.

Have a good one!

Ooh, Sedona...pretty! Wow, that's fast to land a job. Congrats to Jolea. Sounds like you have a guard cat that's doing a good job. Very cool! Sending safe thoughts for Jeff! Have a great week!

Suzie, they got the traveling bone from their Dad... NOT, he rarely leaves the county. I'm getting behind, I need to dust my passport off.

Cheryl, When she was here she showed me a picture of a restaurant down the street from where she would be living. She said "I'm going to go in there and say 'You may not know it, but you want me to work for you.'" That's just Jolea... unbelievable work ethic and great personality.
