He bought a bike to ride around and to get to Panama on. I guess he decided against public transportation.
When he told us that he bought a small motorcycle we were thinking it was like the last small bike he purchased.
He said that he had to work on it a little bit to get it road worthy.
Staying in a bike friendly hostel helps.
Back at home we were going about our lives as usual.
I made a hat for my boss' baby. He's a HUGE Star Wars fan, his 3yr old twins are named Luke and Leah. This is Owen.
Me and a few of my co-workers decided to have a desert buffet for Valentines Day. Other co-workers brought goodies and everyone stuffed their faces... it was a good day.
I completed my guitar class (6 lessons), I still don't get it. My fingers are retarded, and I keep saying over and over "is it supposed to sound like that?" But I'm getting there and I'll keep trying, as long as my finger tips don't snag my yarn.
I tried this wine, $2.99 at Whole Foods. It's called Three Guesses. When I showed it to Jody and told him how much I had paid for it, he said "the first two guesses don't count and the third is unimportant, kind of like this wine." It's not bad, kool-aid with a twang, come to think of it, I don't even think I got a buzz.

Glad to hear your son is doing well. Cute hat! Mmmm....yummy desserts! Great job on sticking with your guitar lessons even though it's not going so well. I keep trying different instruments but I don't stick with them for long because I just can't get it as fast as I'd like...mostly the memorizing the notes part. My latest is a drum. No notes to memorize and no calusses to snag my yarn. lol
Thanks, the hat was copied off Pintrest, original maker only sold them completed, no pattens... silly her, I would have purchased a pattern from her, but I was forced to make up my own. I think I could get the drumming thing down, I'm more of a rhythm kind of person as it is, I guess that's why I enjoyed dancing so much as a youngster and still do.
Glad Jeff is doing well. Your children are certainly adventurers! That is wonderful! Wish I had done some of that when I was young!
Love the idea for Valentines day desserts. I may copy you next year! have a great week!
Thanks Suz, I love to travel, Jody doesn't. So we encourage the kids to go, they may be married someday to someone who doesn't and isn't like Jody, who encourages me to go. And later on they will have a family and responsibilities that they can't blow off for a month to travel... best to do it now while they can.

For some unknown reason, I have been thinking (over the past few weeks) about the last time I prayed. Actually said words to whatever Higher Being might be out there. Not sure that I was listened to but...

Thanks M, Jody asks me a couple of times a week when he'll be getting a hat like that. Jeff is sort of a surprise with all this travel. We expected it from Jolea but figured Jeff would be a real homebody.

Well I'm drinking a $6 wine tonight and it makes me shudder with every sip. Jody is laughing at me.
