Your Health Matters, it really does!

If you've been here since the beginning of this blog back in the Summer of 2008, you may remember why I started it.

My husband, Jody had just found out that he had Hodgkins disease.  He would go to his treatments and the nurses and staff of the treatment center would ask him "Is you wife OK, does she need counseling to help her go through this process?"  He would reply, "No, she's blogging and as long as she has red wine she says she's fine."

I was fine through his treatment.  Thanks to some of my readers who had experienced cancer treatment, either themselves or through a loved one, their comments and support helped me greatly.

It also exposed me to more opportunities to learn about cancer and what I like to call 'the business of cancer.'  That's the way I look at it and have looked at it since my father was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer many years ago.  Someone is making A LOT of money off this or they would have found a cure by now.  We are just the collateral damage that goes along with them pretending to care.

Not until recently have we our family made a mind blowing discovery thanks to Di.  As you know my sister-in-law Di was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last Summer.  She has had a mastectomy and gone through 4 rounds of Chemo treatment.  The 1st treatment almost killed her stomach and colon (which she tried to tell the Doctors that she has problems and issues with), she was ready to give up the Chemo when she learned of Vitamin C infusions.  I don't know too much about them other than they work fabulously for her, I'm sure you can Google it.

She finished her last chemo treatment in December only to learn that her husband, my brother Mike Michael to me has Prostrate Cancer and needed to have surgery almost immediately.

Long story short,  Di has done some extensive research since she was diagnosed and even more since Michael's diagnosis stage 4.  They are headed to southern California tomorrow to speak to the people at the Gerson Clinic.   A few weeks ago, Di had emailed Nita and I with the names of some documentary videos to watch.

I spent last weekend watching them and I'm still reeling from it.  If you don't have Netflix, it's worth your while to sign up for the free trial just to watch these videos on line.  They are:
  1. The Gerson Therapy
  2.  Forks Over Knives
  3. Food, Inc.
  4. Food Matters
I know that I've emailed a few of you really all of you who I had email addresses for with this info, and I'm repeating myself here.  I am just so blown away by this information, I'm fired up and don't really know what to do about it.

I'm mad that we have to dig this information out and that it's not readily out there for us or shoved down our throats every 12 minutes on nightly TV the way commercials for prescription drugs chemical poisons are shown.  Again, the business of cancer or the business of illness.  But most of all I'm heart broken.

My parents could have possibly still been here today had they been told about this route of treatment for their cancers.   I feel like their Doctors just took them for everything they were worth.  I hope they rot in Hell, especially the Doctor who ordered our Mom to be over radiated for her Breast Cancer ultimately causing her to have Leukemia two years later.  I know that's harsh, but I'm really angry.  I don't think I can trust another medical practitioner ever again.

*deep cleansing breath*

Hopefully next week we'll have some enlightening information from Michael and Di about the Gerson Clinic.

As one friend to another, watch the videos.

I've been wondering about that myself. Every once in a while I hear some little something about a cure being found/known for cancer but then we never hear another word. We only hear about the drugs, surgeries, radiation, death. It makes me angry. I can only imagine how upset you must be if you found even more on this. I want to watch those videos. Thanks for posting them. I hope your sister-in-law is feeling better. Best wishes to you and your family for a healthy 2012!

Cathy, if you can't get them on Netflix, try Hulu. I watched The Gerson Therapy on Hulu and the rest of them on Netflix later on. Jody's cancer was the only curable cancer. But could come back just like all cancers. He said the treatment was so horrible that he would never go through it again, he'd just live as long as possible with the cancer. These videos give us hope, but it means a change in our lifestyle.

I don't think the general public know or have been given a thimble full of what the medical community really know concerning cancer and treatment.
As for vitamin C, my daughter and her husband are being treated for infertility, sad face, and a friend of mine in medical research said one of the best things to is large doses of vitamin C.
Sure as hell can't hurt.
Keep us posted, we'll be waiting :)

Hey you!

Re: Mike's cancer. K's father had prostate and they went to a clinic in Mexico - Teeheewana- and they cured it - vit c and so on - at the time, nearly 13 years ago, such treatment was illegal in the US - go figure - anyway, wishing Di and Michael luck and good on them for trying something that the AMA tries to dismiss as cuckoo.

M, that's where they were going. Plus they saw some other Drs while they were in Cali.

MeOL... I'm just getting started.

Thanks for sharing, Jomamma. I haven't watched the videos yet because I know they are going to piss me off and maybe give me an anger-induced heart attack. It's stuff like this that keeps me awake at night.
Good health to you. :)

lol Duder, as I've said before, you have so much in common with Jody. He feels the same way. He has given up white sugar... at home. You can't get organic sugar at 7-11.
