This and That

Just a quick little post, yeah it's the butt crack of dawn around here.  My walking partner bailed on me like she does every Friday morning, so I'll just do some stuff around the house.  Then head on down to Presby Dallas.

My sister-in-law Di is having a couple of lymph nodes removed this morning you know what that means.  A couple of weeks ago she was diagnosed with stage 1 Breast Cancer.  If all goes well they will remove the breast next week. 

I'm going to head down to meet Michael and Di around 10:30.  She should be finished up with the procedure around that time and we'll all head out to the ranch.  I thought I'd go to kind of help out since her arm will be sore. 

Nita, Michael and Di were supposed to be starting their vacation to Key West this week.  Nita and Michael were planning a big fishing trip, either deep sea or fly fishing the flats, I can't remember.  Instead.....  Nita will meet us at the ranch tonight.  They will head back in to Dallas later in the week and maybe Nita will follow to come spend a few days with us before heading back to Houston.  Who knows?  We'll just play it by ear.

Not much going on around here, trying to beat the heat.  Which is hard to do when it's 100 or higher.  We've got wildfires flaring up again, so we're under burn bans and water restrictions.  So I go out and buy a few more plants to plop in the flowerbeds!
