THIS IS WHAT I DO. I KNIT, I COOK, I SEW, I MAKE THINGS, AND I TRAVEL, AS OFTEN AS I CAN.

I hope 2011 brings you blessings.

Looking back at 2010....

...let's not.  Admit it, it had some crap parts so let's try not to go back to dwell on those.  We can heal from these things, and we are healing.

Instead let's think of the good things:
  • family
  • health
  • wealth
  • good jobs
  • travel
  • friends
  • generally taking care of ourselves and everything around us
  • just good things for us all around

My resolution - ?   I'm not sure yet, but I know I have somethings I need to improve on.  Life is too short to have unresolved issues hanging around.  Maybe my resolution will be to resolve issues that are causing me unrest so that this year is more peaceful.  Yeah, that's it, all I can do is try.

Well there you go, I just resolved the issue of not having a resolution.  I'm off to a good start.  Next issue, learning how to operate a MacBook and get all my pictures off the PC and over here.

May 2011 bring us and YOU more of the good and none of the crap.  I know there's got to be more lucky food items I'm supposed to eat today besides just Blackeyed Peas.

Happy New Year to you, too, my sweet friend. When I first "discovered" you, you were in the midst of your hubby's illness. So glad that is behind. With good health, we can get through the rest.

I heard blackeyed peas and cabbage. Yuck. I'm thinking a greasy burger or burrito...?

@MEol, thanks girl! We really should exchange names and numbers so we can get together the next time you come to No.Tex.

@Heather, Greasy burger sounds fantastic! I have done cabbage (for wealth) in the past, but since Jody's treatment his nose is like a Bloodhound's and he can't handle the smell. I still think he should go to work down at the airport sniffing bags. He's got the most sensitive nose now.

Yuck! I can't stand black eyed peas. My parents grew them when I was a kid and we had them so much then that I don't want to ever eat them again! Well, actually, I tried them last year...after more 35 years...but they were still gross! lol Anyway....

Best wishes to you for a wonderful, fantabulous, terrific 2011! :-D
