She's miles away and I'm still helping her pack. Hope these wool socks bring her good luck on this leg of her voyage. These are the VERY first pair of socks I knitted back in 2000. Yeah, they are still good and warm. She's going to need them.... Brrrrrr!
Gotta get this box in the mail today.
Just found a box to mail it all, it was in Jolea's room. Her friend Stephanie R sent her boots back to her when she forgot them in Rhode Island. Bless her heart, Stephanie that is. This box is perfect, unless she tells me she needs something else.
Good deal, I always liked these boots, I'll just start wearing them.
I'm off to the Post Office.

Awwww. You're a lovely mother.
I'm so happy for Jolea.
She's getting my socks, and want's her Liberty Sweatshirt back (which is one of my favs) and now she want's a pair of jeans that I'd taken from her closet when she left. I'll not have any comfy clothes left. I guess I'll have to go shopping. eeewwww.
i just want my liberty jacket not the sweat shirt. thanks
Cool, I'll keep the sweatshirt, that makes more room in the box.
AWWW what a cool momma! :) Jo you're so lucky!!!
I know
Speaking of leaves.....what happened to the one on your car? Is it cover with snow now?
@Me... YES! If it's still there, I went to Ikea yesterday and forgot to check on it when I got home. Where have you been girl?
Just wallowing in my own thoughts, I'm sorry to say. Too much to think about. I do enjoy your stories though. Since I didn't cook that much this Christmas, does it count that I watched what you did? You were such a busy girl. Happy New Year and enjoy your last few days off.
@Me... yeah that counts. I really didn't do too much. Still trying to get rid of all those cake balls... you want some? I'll meet you at the mall.
After the holidays, I need a sign around my neck that reads "PLEASE don't feed me!" Thanks anyway!
