This could be the final step....

... Jody is getting his medi-port out today. It's sad, he'll no longer be able to connect to the Matrix. We're pulling his plug. (Thank goodness, that phone is driving me nuts.)

I'm not going into work this morning, even though he's just going under a local to get the port removed, I'm afraid they will not allow him to drive home, he thinks they would but I'm not going to take the chance. Although, I think after 15 minutes with Mr. Happy after the procedure they would drive him home and walk back to the hospital just to be rid of him. He doesn't handle pain that comes with stitches well after the Novocain wears off. I'll bring him home, make sure he's comfy and go to work.

In other news, Jeff came in Friday with a Blackberry. I asked Jody, "didn't Jeff just get a new phone two weeks ago?" He said the phone wasn't Jeff's. Jeff's boss, Mark sent it for Jody since the cell phone Jody currently has is a company phone. Mark REALLY want's Jody to come to work for him. He's already getting him hooked up with goodies. He had a whole bag of chargers, a bluetooth, covers and cases. All kinds of toys. Jody was putting all his phone numbers in it last night. I was taking pictures with it. Hmmm, I wonder if we'll have a company vehicle? I don't think Jody enjoys having the company truck... if it means he'll be 'on call' all the time.

Ah, the Crackberry. So you can work, even when you're not at work! Says the unemployed girl...

All new toys are good toys whilst they remain toys... remember work is not what matters, life matters...but having a toy often makes life that much more enjoyable!!

So glad that you are getting back to the usual "life stuff". Good luck with the new adventure.

I haven't had too many opportunities to see my hubby on any kind of anesthesia (thank goodness). But still he is so funny, I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Have a good new semester!

Thanks all for the well wishers.

Duder, I don't know how he'll handle the phone... we don't like phones... and because of that the Jitterbug looks good to us.

Jody is funny all the time, but when he's on anesthesia he's a riot. Even the nurses laugh till they pee their pants.

He's on the vicoden at the moment... he said they should not allow people to do what he did. I'm off to get him more drugs....
