I'm rejuvinated!

Sorry about not posting on Saturday, Jolea and I slipped off to New Braunfels to visit Jody's parents. This was the in-between (treatments) weekend, so Jody was feeling pretty good, and he thought it was a great time for us to go, before Jolea takes on another job. The doctor did in some new medicine for the nausea that we hope will work better than the last. I'm going to have to stock-up on saltine crackers, we really seem to be running through them here lately.

The weather couldn't have been better, cool nights and mild sunny days. I can make my deck look appetizing to you in pictures, but in all reality my deck wants to grow up to be Jane's deck.

Jody's mom can grow anything. Give her a stick with a green leaf on it and she'll poke it in the ground and before you know it there will be a 3 foot plant with some sort of exotic fragrant flowers blooming all over it.

And when you look out across their yard as you sit knitting on their deck this is what you see... beautiful!!!!

Their house is just around the corner from Lake McQueeney. So we can hop in the golf cart and zip down to the neighborhood park to fish or just hang out in the peacefulness. Everything is so laid back and relaxed down there. They couldn't have picked a better place to retire.

I'll post more pictures to night. I hope you all had as great a weekend as we did.

It looks soooooooooooooooooooooooo lovely. America is so big and has so many beautiful places. I love your country; have always said that; that the nature there is second to none. I would, and could, live there for the nature. No doubt about it.
Can't wait for more pics.

Yes Heather, Jody's idea of a vacation is for Jolea and I to leave town. To travel with Jody, you just turn up the radio and roll the window down and very little talking. But with Jolea, we have lots of singing and dancing and loads of laughs.
