Happy Saturday!

Isn't that beautiful!? I have weekend flowers. They look really good on Thursday night, so I don't bother cutting them to take them to work for only one day. I think they do this on purpose... that way they get to remain on the plant as happy flowers with bees tickling their innards.

Look how big my peppers are!!!

Jody is much better now. That shot of Neulasta just hit a little harder than usual and took a little longer to get over. Just a few more weeks, just a few more weeks.... He said last night that he thought it was only Wednesday. Being home all the time, it's easy to loose track of time, and when you go through a couple of days on pain killers it really screws with your inner clock. Knowing it was Friday night made him sad to think the chemo is just a week away. But of course I told him it's just one more on the list to check off, soon they would all be over. I'm sure he would love to smack me in the back of the head when I get my 'look on the bright side of it...' attitude.

Good thing is, we'll probably go to Garland tonight with him feeling better. Anything to keep his mind off it... he's such a worrier. The weather is great right now, but a lot of people are not showing up. I wonder if they think it's too cool out? Oh I just remembered Jody's good friends won't be there, they go to Pearl, TX this weekend. I can't wait until Jody is well enough to go to Pearl again. It's a big all weekend gathering. Hmmm, what can I bake to take tonight? Many of them know I bring food, it could get ugly if I show up empty handed.

I was going to put in a video here, Jolea had given me directions which I followed to the T, but it still didn't work. Maybe when Jeff gets home in a few weeks he can tutor me.

Have a great weekend, get out and enjoy this weather!!!

What big peppers you have.

Glad Jody's doing better, not much going on this weekend with me. I'm fixing to go out and start on my yard work. It's going to be very busy at work starting next week. I will be the only tech Monday through Thursday. Laura's last day is today. I hope I don't lose it and have to bring out the pink stuff (Beuthanasia) to use on anyone.

That one is supposed to turn yellow, I have red bell and green too.

Do you think they will all blubber over her leaving? Will you get more money out of this departure?

Nice flowers and pepper! We had a garden once on the dock - peppers, herbs, Japanese eggplant, tomatoes all in pots around the front of the boat.
Also, glad Jody is feeling better.

No, I don't think so but if I need help I will call. I think Dr. E is looking forward to it just being her and I. We work alot faster if it is just us. We can read each others minds and no what we need to do. I don't know about the pay, I'm already making what a tech makes. I hope she gives me a little extra.

I don't think anyone will miss Laura. She scared the dogs when she came in the rooms because of the way she would dress. Yesterday this puppy about 7 months old started barking at her and I thought he was going to bite her. It was so funny. She had all her Halloween shit on. Black & orange scrub with orange headband, orange shoes, etc. Dr. E asked me what was going on in the room and I told her that the spook was in there and that the puppy didn't like her. Ha Ha

The only bad thing about her leaving is after school is out I have to work with dumb asses. One of the boys still dosen't know how to hold a dog. He is to busy looking around the room and not watching and the dog got Dr. E. She had to suture he own wound up. I was off that day. Well I better go, I have to plan my dinner for tonight.

Thanks Heather... sorry my sister's comment really cracked me up... I would have nothing buy potted gardens, but Jody doesn't like potted plants on the deck. And he did build flowerbeds all the way around our house, so I only have herbs in pots.
