"He's taking the trip of a life time,"

....said Jody when hearing of where Jeff was today. We've lost count of how many countries he's visited. Last week he was on his way to Germany for Octoberfest. This week he's been to Venice, and Rome. They were going on to Naples and then to Greece. He said they will work their way back to Amsterdam and leave from there in a week or two. They have bought a car for $700 pounds and are driving.

Jody said knowing Jeff he'll double his money when he sells the car. That's just the way he is, Jeffreyberg Cruzanstein, auto dealer like none other. Then again, he may ship it home as a keepsake.

It's weird not having either one of the kids at home. We're used to Jolea being gone, she's been back and forth now for years, but Jeffrey has never been gone for more than a week to 10 days when he was racing cars. I miss him. We've been out of eggs for weeks.... he's my source for farm eggs.

I miss Jolea too, don't get me wrong. She's a fantastic dishwasher emptier! We have an agreement when she's home, I load (she hates dishwater) and she puts away. She's really handy to have around. And she's fun to watch TV with, we like the same kinds of shows. I'm missing Dancing With The Stars because she's not here to help me obtain the remote.

For those of you with young kids, stop what you are doing and go spend some time with them, do it now! Play a game, go for a bike ride or a walk. Watch a good movie with them... they grow up so fast and then they are off seeing the world and you are left to sit at home thinking, "wow that was fast... Jeffrey just fell off the house a few months ago... and Jolea was just singing Where The Boys Are at a 4-H competition last week..." Take time to re-live the fun times and you'll make time for more fun times. I think my kids are addicted to the fun times, because of the fun times we had.
